B2B Oracle Developer

Our client has an opportunity available for an Oracle B2B Developer to support our client located in Phoenix, AZ or Pleasanton, CA. This position will be focused on a migration from Oracle 11g to Oracle 12c and rewriting the 11g composites.


Location: Phoenix, AZ or Pleasanton, CA


Duration: 6 months with possible extension


Responsibilities/Job Duties/Job Description/Qualifications:


Our customer is searching for a B2B Developer for Oracle SOA/B2B with a proven ability to analyze problems, propose, implement, and manage the lifecycle of Oracle SOA/B2B Composites. Our customer has many exciting new projects utilizing a broad range of new technologies where a candidate will have the chance to use or expand their expertise. The B2B Developer will support our customer’s critical data exchange processing for Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Banking, Transportation, and many other business units within our customer.


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain and produce technical documentation for usage and optimization standards
  • Collaborate with Business and IT to Create, Test, Update and Troubleshoot Oracle B2B Composites
  • Collaborate with Business and IT to Create, Test, Update and Troubleshoot Oracle BAM Dashboards, Reports and Automated notifications
  • Troubleshoot Oracle SOA/B2B and BAM Infrastructure related issues

Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:

  • Must have 5+ years professional experience as a developer with Oracle WLS/SOA Suite for 11g and 12c
  • Excellent knowledge of EDI for Supply Chain
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle SOA suite, XML, SXD, XSLT, JDeveloper, MQ and JMS Adapters
  • In-depth knowledge of AS2, certificate deployment and vendor configuration
  • Complete understanding of mapping between disparate data standards and creating working Oracle SOA composites
  • Candidate must possess superior communication skills
  • Candidate must work well in a fast-paced, changing environment and be able to manage multiple tasks, projects and initiatives all with different priorities concurrently
  • Candidate must possess a genuine desire to provide superior customer service to our business and IT customers
  • Working knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Unix, Windows)
  • Proficiency with shell scripting and SQL queries required
  • Proficiency with job scheduling tools a plus
  • Proficiency with code repository and deployment tools
  • Proficiency with IBM IIB Flow development a plus
  • Axway Synchrony Suite knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency with upgrading Oracle SOA suite
  • Candidate must be results oriented, willing to take responsibility and accept accountability and work independently focusing on business needs
  • Computer Science degree and Certification with Oracle SOA Suite preferred
  • Cloud experience needed
